These homeowners were looking to finish the basement of their home to create a space that was perfect for entertaining. Their home was newly built but it had replaced an old cottage on the property. They wanted to create a space that incorporated a few of the elements from the cottage. The blue accent wall in the wine cellar is actually reclaimed wood from the cottage! Eclectic design elements such as the wine barrel vanity in the bathroom and the glass bottle light fixture in the wine room create a unique design theme throughout the basement. The stone wrapped columns were also designed to match the upstairs of the home. A secret cigar room was created behind a bookcase door that featured its own ventilation system.
This one of a kind lower level is now an amazing entertaining space to host family and friends! The homeowners said this extra space was great to have during quarantine.
